Online ticket purchase problems - ideas anyone?

Can anyone help me with this new ticket purchase system, or will I have to wait until Monday when I'll be in meetings all day?

I want to buy some tickets for next week, so when I remembered, I went to the ticket page of the club website.

I thought I'd seen on here a while ago that you have to register first, so I selected the registration page and filled in all my details. It told me my details were already on the system. Great I thought.

So I went to the login page, where it asked for a "Fan Card" or "Member Card" number and a password. I was a blue member last year, so put that number in and my "usual" password. It just brought the login page back. I then saw that it said if you hadn't used the system before, the password was your postcode. Tried that, no success.

So I then clicked the button for a password reminder. Put in last year's blue member number and hey presto, the same page comes back with no message as to whether an email has been sent. I don't even know what address it'll be sent to! Anyway, I've checked them all and nothing.

Has anyone managed to buy tickets through this system? If so, any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I had similar log in problems the other day but got there eventully.the number was a totally different number to that on my gold card from last season but i had recieved an email a couple of months back and the number was on there.think you are probably using the wrong member number which is why no password reminder was sent to your email address

Ive had similar problems, eventually got around it just by registering with a different email address

phone the ticket office who will give you your new number, had the same problem the other day my new membership number is completely different from last year.

Looks like I'll have to phone the ticket office Monday.

Hopefully, after that it will truly be an on-line service!

I've actually had no communication from the club whatsoever this summer, despite suggesting through Ask the Club that it would be sensible to try to get lapsed season ticket holders and blue members (I am both) to consider a season ticket this year.

As Rookie said, though, the number is nothing like anything I've had from the club before. As it's clearly been allocated and associated with my email address, surely they could have let me know? :nono: :jester:
