So, the Albion are one of only 19 current Premier League or Football league clubs that have not played at the new Wembley. 73 have played a match there.

When do you think our first, if ever, appearance will be?

Tottenham (A) next season is by far the most likely.

Wow, that to me is quite an amazing stat. In 10 years, 73 different clubs have played at Wembley? If you had asked me how many clubs have played at Wembley since it re-opened, I would have guessed about 20 or 30.

Playoff final vs Leeds.

Although I sincerely hope not.

Off the top of my head it's possible up to 16 different league clubs can play there each season

6 x Play offs
4 x Fa Cup
2 x League Cup
2 X Freight Rover Trophy
The Confrence Play off winners
And the League champs in the Charity Shield

Plus the FA Trophy for conference teams. Don't think any FA Vase winners would get far enough up the pyramid to count.

That's a great stat that highlights how not special playing at Wembley has become. Almost everyone has done it!
