Way out west
Fourteen years ago, where did that time go to. I can remember the game like it was yesterday, catching the train up from London, watching the team come off the bus...shouted something like "give em hell" to Gary Chivers...he smiled back in acknowledgement...pre-match bevvy in the ground, with the Man Utd crest on the bottle...a penalty that should have been in front of the Stretford end, if only Kennedy hadn't given it the Klinsmann treatment...taking the mickey out of the prawn sandwich brigade in the boxes behind us, then the journey home thinking what might have been...a decent display and almost holding our own against the far better team.

Oh, and the away attendance...think they said we had 6,500...how things have changed, we only get 5k for a game at West Ham!
