I think you'll find that the sun being out and the likes of Savage turning in decent performances are not unrelated... people laughed at Ron Noades for saying they don't like the cold weather but there must be some truth in it...

Blimey. I am not sure how many people laughed at Noades. I don't think Ian Wright and Mark Bright were laughing. Noades showed himself up as an ignorant racist - and that is not such a laugh.
