Wherever The Mood Takes Me
I had this chat with a guy at work just before christmas. We were both of the opinion that christmas was going to be hard not because of the opposition but because of the state of the pitches. This I think was true, what we didn't bank on was the massive loss in confidence that this would give such a young team - that is what has hampered us just as much.

Way out west
I think we were always likely to have a blip around Christmas, mainly due to a mixture of the pitches, weather and having such a young squad. However, I think the thing that turned it around was the arrival of the Baz/Bertie and the young Ward, they added a bit of maturity to the team and galvanised the midfield...we are probably now just a couple of wins from safety, with eight games left to play.

If this is on the up I'd hate us to be on the slide

I agree. We've dropped 5 place in 4 games.

I think that being on the up is based more on the standard of performances rather than league positions and I believe that if we beat Huddersfield we will be safe.

It's a funny old game, it's getting better by the day. I could be a millionaire by May. My wife has gone, my daughter won't be long. But basically boys, i'm so aloooooooo-oo-oh-oh-one, but on the up.

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
When the sun is out and we are playing well like Saturday there is always cause for optimism, I actually think Bas Savage has a lot do do with the turnaround, nice to have a darkie that actually gives his all for the club:jester:

I think you'll find that the sun being out and the likes of Savage turning in decent performances are not unrelated... people laughed at Ron Noades for saying they don't like the cold weather but there must be some truth in it...

Bas certainly seems to have added some spark to the attack, once Reveldinho is back to full fitness the sky is the limit for us.

Not bad lyrics there MB, I think you display songwriting talent and should certainly consider submitting a completed version to a publisher...... unless, of course, those are someone elses words

Me and Waterman worked hand in hand, or emotive glitter on paperweight-brain, with this song.
We also worked together on the themetune to Let's Pretend and the adult, half-humorous, sex-education stage-play Flump Mit Clump.
