My phone keeps showing a message insufficient memory so went into Vodafone who said it was due to the apps installed and checked that the only ones installed are the ones needed for the program and installed by manufacturers. They suggested I get an upgrade and suggested a Samsung A5 with 32 GB of memory. Anybody who has one can you tell me if it is easy to use, very loud on ringtone, and speaking volume and if a tune can be installed as a call ringtone and also a message ringtone.

What do use you current phone for? calls/texts? or do you browse the web?

I'd suggest you need the shop to let you hear how loud the Samsung phone goes etc. Judging by the Doro website they seem to be phones very much aimed at people that want large icons, text, very loud ringtones, loud, clear calls. Samsung will be aiming at a more generic feature set to try and appeal to a broader base.

You might find that a new Doro model is more suitable - get a demo of the Samsung.

If he is using a Doro it's a manufacturer (no disrespect) aimed at the older generation-my old man has one,a touch screen and he is 81,i cannot however imagine him using a samsung at all,he does not use any web services on his either...just calls

No Vodafone shop checked all my apps and they are all ones that say they shouldnt be removed as they are part of the program. I do not have porn or anything similar on my phone or pc as it wouldnt do me any good at my age I dont want or need a heart attack.
