I was watching the Javelin earlier on and thought that Japan could have won with a world record if they had put a Whale on the WR marker.
Following the win for France over the ROC, in the volleyball, it looks as though it may well come down to Lauren Price taking the Gold, tomorrow, to overhaul the ROC in the final medal table.
Nice to have done the Aussies, though, but it was the closest it's been for a few decades.

Bloody shame that chair luzzing is not a field event, it would be a shoe-in.
We have a great chance of another gold medal as the Olympics finish with the traditional Japanese sport of wooden railway bridge building.
Even the heat and humidity will not give us any problems.
