Hello!

With the exciting prospect of only have to pay £2 to attend an Albion away game, all the northerners on the board should be wetting themselves with excitement!

On the back of this kind gesture from Oldham FC is this an attempt to organise some kind of meet up for the Manchester/Cheshire/Lancashire seagulls amongst us, a la 'London Seagulls'!

We know you’re out there! (somewhere!)

The thinking is that we could meet for a few beers before or after the Oldham game next Saturday

I'm thinking that the Lass O Gowrie Pub would make a good meeting place.

It's a 5/10 minute walk from Piccadilly Station so anyone coming up for the day is glad to join us.

I hope that works! Anyway google maps claims its 0.7 miles but to walk it’s about 0.4! It's a 5 minute walk from Piccadilly trust me!

For all the camra fans out there this place should do the trick. The 'lass' also serves the best pint of larger in Manchester - FACT

Anyway, I was thinking we could meet for a few beers here in central Manchester and then head up to Oldham.

Alternatively we could meet in Oldham (if anyone's got any suggestions?) and then head to the Lass in Manchester after the game?

Manc Seagulls, where are you??

Anthony

I'd like to meet up somewhere, sounds better than going on my own having failed to persuade any of my non-Albion mates to come. Am a bit concerned about the all ticket situation though.

How much have you paid for the trains? I paid £15 from Manchester to Brighton on Sunday afternoon.

Its not too bad driving up there, at least we can drink, unlike on the coach

We have done return from London to Manchester via Crewe for £29. It was going to be some like £60 going on the direct ones as they did not release cheap tickets on those.

Will be in Manchester after the game as going to see The Saw Doctors/Pogues at the MEN arena.

Fly back to Gatwick Sunday morning.

What a bargain 7 tickets for 9 quid!
I trust that Sinclairs still let brats in!!!!

It's probably best that you all avoid the trains that we will be on!

going by train seems like something of a mistake - the rail line doesn't go too near the ground. looking on the transport direct website, this looks like the best option.
