North Stand Old Roof vs North Stand New Roof, Which generated more noise?
I only remember the post 1984 Roof but was it better or worse than the previous one for atmosphere and crowd noise? Taking into account that attendances were larger under the old one.

That started in the South first... we were 'scuffling' for our lives until they got thrown out then re-entered at the north end of the west stand.

It sure did, I was 14 at the time and it was pretty scary stuff.

No comparison, the old north, it had two pitches to it and was lower, not unlike the old away end at London Road, Peterborough!
