EP
I'll sing the song... "there's no-one there, there's no-one there..."

PS: Great action shots.

Not the real one
North Stand Old Roof vs North Stand New Roof, Which generated more noise?
I only remember the post 1984 Roof but was it better or worse than the previous one for atmosphere and crowd noise? Taking into account that attendances were larger under the old one.

That started in the South first... we were 'scuffling' for our lives until they got thrown out then re-entered at the north end of the west stand.

It sure did, I was 14 at the time and it was pretty scary stuff.

Because it wasn't safe (the clue is in the name), and we didn't need the extra capacity after we were relegated from Division 1

Funny...it only housed 900 and yet it seemed an important addition at the time.
On another matter entirely, why was the West Stand never extended to cover the complete length of that side of the ground?

Great pics - especially to see the lego stand again and the spanking new North roof.

Never saw the old roof - only no roof in between for 1 season?

Is there a central place where photos like this are gathered? If not there should be..

Thanks for posting
