Memories of youth and it was some time ago I can tell you.

Summer working listening to the Roadshows from Eastbourne, Skegness etc.

When the Top 30 meant selling more than 250 CDs in a week.

Peter Powell with the perm and Kid Jensen was cool - before you knew he was a Palace fan!

Tee Hee mugs from Mike Reid - those were the days.

The Albion used to get 25,000 + for home games at the Goldstone and Spider Mellor and Peter Ward terrorised defences.

In the late sixties they were both Radio 1 stalwarts. Jimmy Young in the morning and Wogan in the afternoon. Jimmy Young even had a slot where he used to sing live in the studio!
