N'Guessan will not stay - Jackson

Lincoln City manager Peter Jackson has said he believes Saturday's match against Aldershot will be winger Dany N'Guessan's last game for the Imps.

The Frenchman, who is out of contract in the summer, has been tracked by several clubs in higher divisions.

Jackson told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "With the interest in him I'd say it'll be Dany's last game in a Lincoln shirt.

"We offered him an excellent contract and it's still on the table, but the indications are he'll be leaving."

Since joining in January 2007 N'Guessan has made 90 appearances for Lincoln in League Two and scored 16 goals, eight of which have come this season.

He was also named in the PFA's 2008/09 League Two team of the season.

As N'Guessan is under 24 the Imps will be entitled to compensation if he moves away from Sincil Bank

Winger (left or right).

Apparently linked (hope not) with Hull, Wigan and West Brom. HIGHLY RATED apparently.

Apparently Carole like speed BUT much more the finished article. I'd take whatever we get for Lynch and hopefully even 56,000 for Jakey and try and go after both Therry Racon and N'Guessan. If we can't get Racon, then Bangura might be a decent runner up.

Destined for League 1 title challengers/struggling Championship side I reckon.

MK Dons have been linked.

IMHO if we are to challenge for promotion in a very tough League 1 next year, we have to get out of our zone of players who are good enough for this standard and reach higher.

I think our first choice back four can get the job done if they stay healthy and reasonably free of bans (yellow / red cards)

I think Murray and Forster with Hart, Owusu, Davies can get the job done if they stay healthy and get the service they need.

Which brings me to my real point, which is our midfield. If Coxy continues his recent form, Dicker proves to be the starch, then we need an aggressive attacking CMF and a winger who can stretch the defence and get good balls over.

We are about 300K quid away from a team that can genuinely challenge for Top 6 next year. I really believe that. That means going after and getting someone like Racon and someone like N'Guessan.

Its all well going for people like N`Guessan and Racon but why would they waste a period of their careers playing for a side like us at an athletic track when they can go to places like West Brom and Hull? We're just not going to get these sorts of players unfortunately.

That said we might have more chance with Racon, but he ha been playing for Charlton nearly all this season (when not injured) and they seem to like him. He could get a lower Championship side but we might be able to persuade him given that he spent a time on loan here.

if i had my way, RACON would be the first signing.

I still think he is the best player I have seen on loan in a brighton shirt....he absolutely ooozes class

N'Guessan played for BOSTON v us in the cup at Withdean. was a bit raw back then but had bags of talent, would be a good signing kind-off like Carole with a killer instinct !!!:lolol:

Cant say i know alot about him but looks like he would be a decent signing, although if the hull/west brom rumours are true theres not much chance of it happening. Racon would be good, but he seems to be playing reguarly for charlton now. One player who would be class is Jason Puncheon, who was on loan at Mk Dons, looked quality at withdean and stadium Mk.

Good post, although I think Racon is more likely to stay at Charlton than come to us.

If we could get N'Guessan, he would be quality, saw him take Daggers apart earlier a few months back. Excellent winger.

Also, another one who would be good on the left is Matt Ritchie from Pompey, been on loan at Daggers all season and is seriously good!
