Tonight? And Saturday? Please?

Start LOW* and sing SLOW...

*Anyone got a Vuvuzela? That's the spot-on starting note for your derr-derr-de derrs!!
Will fall on (tone) deaf ears I'm afraid. The one good thing about singing it so fast is at least that nonsensical 'to win the cup' couplet can't be heard.

I think we should sing AND we're going up to win the cup myself. As it's the words.

A thread like this is done for literally every game - it's safe to say it will be sung quickly tonight and saturday.

Maybe because having Albion fans unable sing their own club song - to the point of not knowing the words, having to change key twice along the way because they started it off way too high - and trying to get shot of it at 100mph - makes it all sound a bit crap?

Maybe.

Maybe just letting the vast vast majority show there support by singing the club song (albeit incorrectly) without about 1 in 100 singing like they're in a church choir and waving some printed of lyrics around in a strop, would be better?

We don't sing it like we used to. It's not going to change so deal with it.

I'll add that doesn't mean I wouldn't love us to sing it traditionally. I just don't think it'll ever happen nowadays.

Don't be ridiculous man! Most young men cannot sing top F#'s (only castrati and those freaky tenor types  )... it needs to be in a much more profound key... I would go for Bb major myself!

Nothing wrong with being a freaky Tenor
