Mind you,Ferguson getting a Knighthood, stinks when you look at Bob Paisley, was it three cup win for him? Yet he misses out.

Er, the cricketers were playing for ENGLAND not SCOUSELAND, so Parry can go f*** himself

LETS SEE.

Liverpool put in an embarrasing first half performance, bad enough that a large number of the death lovers, turn off.

In the second half, Gerrald alone takes on Milan.

Liverpool amazingly get to 3-3 at fulltime.

In extra time Milan are the better side but Liverpool hang on, they win on penalties.

It was not a great victory, for most people, the win is a fluke.

Parry should keep his head in the cupboard and that cup should be melted down for a more derserving cause and purpose.

The 1966 World Cup winners didn't get knighthoods, nor did Forest, Man U etc, why should bloody Liverpool? They're just a bunch of well paid entertainers doing what they get paid for. Honours get handed out far too willy nilly these days, no way do Liverpool players deserve bugger all.

and how many of these actually qualify for a UK honour from HM Queen.

Liverpool: Dudek, Finnan (Hamann 46), Traore, Hyypia, Carragher, Riise, Gerrard, Luis Garcia, Alonso, Kewell (Smicer 23), Baros (Cisse 85).
Subs Not Used: Carson, Josemi, Nunez, Biscan
Manager: Benitez

I reckon only Finnan (is he irish?), Carragher, Gerrard and possibly Carson.

kewell is an Australian so comes undera different honours system

Good to see Parry exempilfying the impression ofn a thisck scouser.

Too right, the England Cricketers getting honours for the Ashes win makes a complete joke of the whole thing. The Australian media must have had a field day with that one - we beat them for the first time in a decade or so of trying... and we immediately bestow honours on them for breaking such a pathetic track record

Would they have to give them back if they lose in Australia this winter - the honours rather than the Ashes (which of course they will if they lose:dunce: )

no too much of a self opiniated twat in the 1970s (thought he should be England manager when he couldn't even manage BHA in Div3).

Did get an OBE a the end though

At least with the Cricketers, it's out national team, not some low-life scousers
