Looking good and many thanks for putting this together. As my 'squad' are swede-bashing, straw-chewing yokels from Worthing could I seek advice from you Metropolitan elite/Denying the Will of The People types on logistics? Mrs GNT will be dropping us off and picking us up. Is there parking in the vicinity? We'll be making a quick getaway (to my eternal shame) as one of our number has 2 non-sleeping toddlers. Cheers!

Asda has parking but says customers only so be careful.

Just passed myself achilles fit for Wednesday. Will be very unfit otherwise. Expecting a lot of redness, sweat, huffing and puffing and sickness in the belly. That's how I am now after a 2.5 mile run and a total mileage of under 10 miles in 4 weeks.

That makes me feel rather better about having not run all of the 10 miles I put in this lunch time! Hope your achilles holds out for you.

Congrats to the SBs/PBs from the weekend.

Another table update required for me, with a new PB in the bag from the Lululemon Toronto Waterfront 10k on Saturday.

It was a piss-poor week of preparation, as I was out every night and consumed a fair amount of booze. Plus I spent Friday taking some family on a trip to Niagara, doing a lot of walking and eating! However, I haven't raced a 10k for about 18 months and my natural speed has improved a lot since then, so I was still confident I'd get the PB.

I came home in 38:04, which I'm pleased about although I'd liked to have ducked under 38. It's also the first time I've ever had a completely even split, 19:02 for the first 5k and 19:02 for the last 5k with the first and last km being my fastest! I was 5th in my AG, which is now the fourth time I've been 4th or 5th. I need to find a less competitive race!

New boy on this thread, so apologies if this is covered.
I am working towards regularly running marathons and half marathons after a period of taking part in shorter races. My most recent race was the Horsham 10K a couple of weeks ago.
I am looking for upcoming half marathon or 10Ks in the next few weeks....
Does anyone know of local running events that would suit?

What are you doing on this thread? I thought you had camped out permanentntly on the Brexit thread.

More importantly, do we have a post race pub we are all agreed on?

We could do the ‘hawk. There’s a pub just above on the road to Lidl. If no good we can head round the back of Sussex Square?

Marina may get more of us having a quick half??

Spoilt for choice.

The Bristol Bar is pretty good and just above where we will be running.

Spoons might be best to maximise attendance though. Let’s see what others think.
