Funnily enough I did Chevin Forest last Saturday, it was rather hilly compared to flat as a pancake Hull.

Rather uneven under foot plenty of fallers, a good laugh though I’d like to go back in winter when it’s muddy.

Roberts Park will be on the itinerary somewhere, I tend to go with friends who like to collect certain numbers: primes Fibonacci etc.
My mother-in-law lives near Skipton so I've done quite a few of the parkruns around Leeds and Bradford. Chevin is great but the best has to be Fountains Abbey -

https://www.brightonsports.co.uk/theweakestlink is indeed at Hove lagoon Wednesday evening 21st June.
I'm asking anyone interested to put their name forward and may delve onto Strava, Facebook and Instagram to try and get many of the deserters on board.
I'm prepared to do the teams and spectate but am unlikely to run. 6 weeks into one of my rheumatoid arthritis flare ups that occur every 4-5 years. Latest attack is inflamed metatarsal joints in right foot. Might get better at any time, might spread to other joints and might stay for 6 months. So on with swimming, cycling and long walks when it allows.
Come on the Gaffer wants 2 teams as a minimum.

Right I'm wrapping this up by Thursday. We have diehards @Simgull and @Greg Bobkin NEED TWO MORE @soistes @Garry Nelson's teacher ???

If no luck I'll ask to send @Greg Bobkin on loan to @Simgull at the Rogues. The Bobkin needs a runabout.

Anyone else follow the Suffolk Back Yard Ultra over the last few days?

c4.1 miles on the hour every hour. Keep going until one person is left.

The last two standing reached 81 "yards" - something like 337 miles, even though each fell asleep in the middle of a lap and was woken up by the other one.

One of them, Hendrik, stopped on his 82nd yard - he just didn't feel it was safe to continue due to sleep deprivation, and the mental fog he was under as a result.

The other, Oriol, finished his 82nd yard to win.

Quite ridiculous endurance.

Yep, seen bits of it on Facebook. Absolutely bonkers.

The Gaffer is standing down as from today. He is unable to get a team together for the Weakest Link Relay. Defections, injuries, weddings, etc have made it impossible for me to continue.
I hope @Simgull will accept the Bobkin on a free and join his second club, the Rogues, himself.

Sad times! I hope the real story isn't that you've been temped away by a better offer by a Big Six team. Gutted we couldn't get an NSC team together. Hopefully next year you'll do a Sam Allardyce/Roy Hodgson and lead a team out?

I’m away with work on the 21st, hopefully everyone who wants to run, finds a team.

I still prefer the marina course, but either way, it’s a great night.

Anyone else planning to do a parkrun when in the US for the Albion Summer series games? We are planning to do Peace Valley on the same day as the game in Philadelphia.

Sorry 😢 Didn’t see this. Haven’t been on NSC for a bit. Would have been up for it. Sounds as if it was a great event - next time?
Sorry I meant to mention it when I saw you last week. It was lots of fun as ever. Must have been at least seventy teams.
I believe there is another planned for September if @knocky1 can be persuaded to do a Hodgson.

Salomon Serpent Trail today. I did the 20k but plenty of absolute heroes taking on the 50 & 100k races.

Great course, quite tough in the heat and I got my hydration strategy completely wrong (aka didn’t hydrate!), which took its toll on the last few Km. Crossed the line in 1:39:44.

Really well organised, great race village at Petersfield RFC. Would highly recommend! Will be back next year for the 50k.

Okay, we're in July, and I believe this is the first appearance of the table this year. I'm pretty sure there are a load of SBs and indeed PBs to update since the turn of the year, so please feel free to reply with anything missing and I'll happily add it.

@knocky1 there is a 'Toggle BB code' button top right if you want to see the table in a more traditional format for editing.
