Went to Bushy Park today: Mecca for Parkrunners. 1200 runners (sometimes there are more) and a big logistical challenge for the volunteers who run the whole operation with great efficiency. Flat, fast course in a lovely park. The downside was the congestion at the start - although with that many runners I was surprised it wasn't worse. 21.32 for me, OK and 116th in the field. Only 2nd in age cat and with an age grade that won't trouble the scorers. Nice outing and recommended. (But get there by 8.30 at the latest if you want to park.)
