Claridge (hes co commentating the QPR/WIGAN game on radio 5) questioned Garcia's tactics yesterday...but then he's not been that keen on him all season

He wasn't really that complimentary when Gus was here either, typical English clogger who doesn't understand keep ball

Punt. No inside track: just who I meet on the street :p
If they have someone lined up though, as has been claimed by a Danish fellow in a cafe, then it shouldn't be long.

well they haven't got any problems with potential court cases etc..and as OG indicated he wasn't happy weeks ago then if they are worth there salt management would have started a shortlist a while ago

Not sure how I feel about this, disappointed that another season seems wasted and we have to start again, but the football has been ponderous to say the least recently.

Hopefully the next manager can work a style/system that suits the players we have and not a style that our level of player quality cant quite cope with.

So it seems whichever Manager is being lined up, there is always something wrong with them based on peoples opinions!

Foe example:

Mackay - needs a huge budget to get us up, can't do it otherwise
Sherwood - Got a bigger gob than Gus, doesn't use defensive midfielders, a huge loss ratio etc etc
Zola - Tactically naive against Palace, so not good enough
Allardyce - Dinosaur, hoof ball
Giggs - Actually not sure why he would be considered! Phelan yes as he is a top coach
Hoddle - out of the game for too long

And no doubt whoever else comes on the scene, there will be reasons why people don't like them! All I ask is that we give them a chance, even if it's someone like Warnock!

Why are people so anti Hoddle? Did a great job in club football, had England playing good attacking football (and only lost that job after his faith healer nonsense), fits our desired "style" and a proven record in France of working with young players which seems to be the plan - build a team using the new training ground/academy. Also apparently keen to return to an English management position. I'd be delighted with him, much more so than Sherwood or Malky.
