but since we are all infighting,suicidal and close to Amex internal combustion from tuesday night may i make a suggestion

the north stand north stand song seems to be winding many people up most of all as palace made it their own song quite a while ago

i suggest we get our own repetitive ditty and make it our own
so rather than moaning about it does anyone have a good ideas

for my sins i suggest

yes as in quadrophenia with the words changed

its a slight own goal ironic piss take especially on them from south london calling us what they do,but at least they would never ever be able to chant seaweed again without 1000`s of fans coming back at them with that........anyway thought it might work with 10,000 singing it in unison for 5 minutes straight.

if we can take the piss out of ourselves being gay im sure being weeds wont matter

3/ makes the palace chants of “seaweed” defunct for ever…..i mean ever
4/ great comeback to all those gay chants from around the country if sung everytime in response

I like it a lot, I like the fact that it doesn't end after 10 seconds, and if the whole ground is singing it it will be LOUD! If it means the end of the north stand song, even better in my opinion

Another suggestion to add to the above. Short, simple and easily repeated.

To the tune of No Limits (the old Kurt Nogan song), just chant Brighton, Brighton Brighton, Brighton Brighton, Brighton AND HOVE ALBION. and repeat for 10 minutes.

Player suggestion: (think it's been suggested on here before) Lewis Dunk Dunk Dunk, as in the Nicky Rust / Leon Knight chant.

Finally, while I am on such a roll! Can someone come up with lyrics to the pretty woman tune? Replacing Pretty Woman with Liam Bridcutt will fit nicely, and as far as i know should be original?

Something like: Liam Bridcutt, bossing the midfield. Liam Bridcutt I'd like to cop a feel. Liam Bridcutt, we really love you, in a way.. I clearly can't think of any decent lyrics but the potential for a song is definitely there, and it's gotta be better than singing one Liam Bridcutt.
