I'm on the last seasons of Bosch.

I seem to have got through series pretty quick (maybe as they are only 45mins long) but glad to hear there should be a spin off as, as it stands there seems to be plenty of room for more seasons and storylines.

Series 2 out today on Netflix.

Very good.

The third, and alas final, series of this rather super Finnish cop thriller will premiere in Finland on 29th October. Outside of Finland, it’s shown on Netflix so we can expect to access this much-anticipated prog some time in 2022.

Don't get me wrong, I'm really enjoying 'Red Election' but 6 episodes in and I don't know who is working for whom.

Same thoughts here, the last series seemed disappointingly too short.

Gutted when it came to end, but it’s appears tailor-made for Harry and his daughter to appear in a new guise.

Mr Robot - I initially loved this and the computer hacking theme, but a few series in, it’s evolved into a very depressing tale of morphine addict Elliot’s inner battles between his personalities and ‘his father’.

Normally I persist with boxsets to the very end.

Has anyone here seen it through and is it worthwhile?

Yeah mate, it went from a nice build to, crash, bang, wallop, end in a few mins lol I thought they could have dragged it out a few episodes longer.... Although I think COVID may have just started kicking off, as they did give a little mention in an episode (if I remember correctly), so that may have made them speed up the season and end it early.

Anyone watching The Sinner on Netflix? Originally conceived as a stand alone eight part serious but so good the made series 2.

Young mum inexplicably stabs a man to death in broad daylight. We go back to work out why with detective dealing with his own demons.

Binged it. Jessica Biel very watchable in a role that is very nuanced.

Apols if already covered.

After a 'meh' Series 3, good to see Series 4 starting last night.

Just finished a brilliant Oz noir.

Started with great movies in 2013 and 2016 (superb title), the series is great too.

Brilliant, brilliant news.

Australian favourite Mystery Road is coming back for a third series, but with a major difference – star of series one and two, Aaron Pederson, is not returning in the title role.

The new six-part series, has been rebranded Mystery Road: Origin and will air in Australia on ABC in 2022. The past two series were broadcast in the UK on BBC Four.

Instead, Mystery Road: Origin will delve into the early years of Detective Jay Swan, with Mark Coles Smith playing the role of Young Jay.

Just finished Aussie mystery thriller The Kettering Incident.

Made in 2016, it was meant to have 2–3 series but was discontinued after one – partly because Elizabeth Debicki rocketed into a major star shortly afterwards.

Nonetheless it's still a good watch, with enough in the ending to both satisfy but also prompt thinking and possibility. Quick Google of fan theories once you're done helps.

Two episodes in to "Maid" on Netflix.

Very engaging lead character dealing with life after escaping a violent partner. Promising.

Btw, fancied trying Ted Lasso but can't find it. Anyone know where it might be?

Legally, only on Apple TV+ - you need a subscription with apple to watch it. (Sometimes Apple give a free year subscription if you buy one of their devices).

I don't know any specifically, but there are probably illegal options out there in the usual places people go for them.

I'm currently watching The Blacklist on Amazon Prime, available at a not too pricey additional cost. It's an FBI story with a difference.

It's excellent, James Spader is great.

Each episode is a standalone story, but there's a couple of unresolved themes bubbling under the surface throughout.

[Great news for me ..... I'm only in season 1 and have just discovered that there are 9 seasons :) ].

:lolol:
I’m simply enjoying the journey for now.

I’ve faced all sort of boxset sagas before …. abandoned midway through by the creators, duff endings, boxsets that went downhill, the main figure removed due to real life crimes (House of Cards).

Viewing resilience.

Be strong young warrior.

Not even my undying love for Megan Boone could keep me with the plot.

Series 2 of the pretty smart Finnish Cold War spy thingy is now available.

Usual formula, secret intelligence team have to save the day for Finland, good stuff.
