Sssshhhh! You'll shatter the stereotypes that some on here cling to.

I dont think many (hopefully if any) people on here believe that the majority of Christians in the US believe all this stuff but as recently seen on 'The Daily Show' massive news corporations like CNN and FOX NEWS actually had discussions and polls as to whether Obama is Hitler and/or the devil. The worrying thing is that it is drifting into the more mainstream conservative population in the US.

Last week I actually saw a clip of Fox News that showed the host supporting and I quote "popular uprising" against the government. Doesnt that sound a little commie for Fox?!? They are just sll eating sour grapes that they lost to the Democrats and have forgoten that being out of power is supposed to taste like sh!t!!!

What's that?

The city proper, plus East-, West- and Midlothian, and the adjacent slices of Falkirk and the Borders, give or take.

If you were really ill, got packed you off to a teaching hospital, and the one they sent you to was the Royal Infirmary, you were living there....

Do the math.

If one person in a hundred is a complete nutter, then we've gothere 3 million certified loonies. That's the population of the Edinburgh metropolitan region. And since they're not evenly distributed, this explains the US Senate.
Yes, that's what I've thought for a long time. American has, as a percentage of the population, no more nutters than anywhere else - certainly no more than us (although we ofter prefer to call them 'eccentrics'). However although the percentages are the same there ARE obviously more American nutters than British ones. Given that they're all from the same nation it is far easier for a group of like-minded American nutters to clump together and form a critical mass.

And to think, his friends call him a "Nut Bag"

The end is near

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I cannot help but shake the feeling the end is near. I have some premonitions about other things in the past, and they proved right on the money. I have a very strong gut feeling, that the Trumpet may sound, quite literally, any day now. I just cannot shake that feeling.

I have very good friends who are not true Believers, and I made a last-ditch effort to minister to them, only for them to call me a 'zealot' and a 'nut-bag' for my beliefs that Jesus is coming soon. The funny thing is one of them actually calls herself a 'Messenger', but she herself cannot even accept the Message.

She is very heavily involved in a 'universal church' that actually teaches Jesus Christ is only 'one way' out of many to get to Heaven. They believe in spirit-worship, earth-worship, and self-worship. She believes being a 'good person' is good enough for God, and the 10 Commandments were more of a 'guideline' than Holy Law.

I feel that she will be Saved, but it will take time. Once she sees just how dark it gets, I feel only then will she seek the Light...the Real Light, not the new-age 'enlightenment' she now tries to persue.

Like I said, I believe that our time on this earth is very quickly ending, and I have left my Bible and a book on Prophecies, as well as documents from the main page of Rapture Ready (I actually used an entire cartridge of ink), and placed them in a hidden place in my apartment, with instructions on where they are (I don't want these to fall into the wrong hands)

I highly encourage you to do the same thing for others you know, who may not be saved. God commands us to go to the world and preach the Good News.

Thank you, Rapture Ready for everything. God bless!

I assure you that place is not a spoof. It's been around for 14 years, Rapture Ready - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

And they will ban a user account and even an ip if you post in support of Obama or in favour of gun control. More than one person I correspond with has been banned.

I'm surprised they've not yet banned my user account to be honest :ban:

No, I don't believe the site to be a spoof, it's just frightening how the real rules are so obvious and laughable.

huh. that post should have been deleted:
[11] No End Times Date Setting, Date Speculating, Date Framing, Date Suggesting, Date Alerts, or designating specific Peace Treaties or feasts as the main event of the Rapture or Second Coming. No quoting from others on date setting future events such as the fall of Damascus, Gog/Magog, the Rapture, the Second Coming, the Millennium, Peace Covenants, feasts, etc.... or speculations on who will be the Antichrist, False Prophet, or Gog. This includes linking to sites and books that also speculate and throw out dates based upon Blood Moon, Rash Hashanah, and other events. Do not set Date Alerts and speculations that even hint of date setting, nor posting from date setting preachers such as Mark Blitz. We have already heard the "know the season argument".

Where is the fun of a rapture website when you cant even speculate on when the Trumpet will sound, when Gog will fall ,or who the Antichrist might be.

Imagine if Bozza banned speculation about who the player of the season was or whether brighton will avoid relegation!

I thought that's what you meant - but the total population of those areas (latest estimates) is just over 1 million. Indeed, the entire central belt including Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire and so on is only about 3.5 million, so your estimate of 3 million for the 'Edinburgh metropolitan area' is miles out!
