Just read on twitter/X than Tottenham and Arsenal are removing the OAP concession on season tickets.

glad ours remains

the feeling is that the club doesn’t rely on ST renewing, rather they can sell their tickets to tourists at far higher prices than they get by giving discounts.

What a way to treat their loyal fans after 50 or 60 years of supporting them.

Seemly villa have restricted areas that OAP ST can sit too!

reading between the lines, it appears that as these clubs are so impoverished, they need people buying corporate and tourist tickets as certain demographic of fans don’t spend any extra money at the grounds!

Would hopefully be huge outrage if we tried a stunt like that - totally against the fans.

Ps - it is from 25/26 season but still disgraceful and hope they do a u-turn

if you think of yourself as a paying customer, entitled to nothing and free to take your business elsewhere, then you won’t be disappointed by football in 2024.

If you’re still buying into this myth it’s a competitive sport, you’re a fan and have a say in things then you really need to get with the beat, baggy. That ship not only sailed but sank long timeago

Good.

it's about time they paid their way.

Index lined pensioned, property owning, smug gits.*

*not all, but quite a few.
I qualify for my discount as from next month ……thank goodness as it’ll (partially) help towards my 10% rent increase due the same month …I’m a shared ownership property owner with a mortgage and rent book…who’ll be working albeit on reduced hours until I drop 👀

And this! Try being 18-30 in today’s world. Yoof has never had it harder in my view.

Not harder than the 1930's or even 1950's & 60's ? Not sure I would agree BUT I would say they are having it worse than the 90's and onwards IF they want a house and many have already been rinsed by the Education Industry and I use that term deliberately as it's designed to suck money out of students. Going forward it will be harder for them and they will have to work a lot longer....

96 steps to West Upper. No lift.

Need to be a spring chicken to tackle them. Only the young can apply for season tickets.

Darwinism? Self-regulation?
