O/T: Xmas Gift Ideas for 18 year olds

Very stuck for a gift idea for an 18 year old son of a friend. We're seeing them over Christmas and his Mum has suggested a maximum budget of £15. What the heck can I buy an 18 year old for that? Can't just give him cash. DVD is a bit uninspired. Must be able to get something interesting (that he can open in front of his family!). Can the great minds of NSC help?
