O/T - Wisdom Teeth

Not going into work today due to my wisdim teeth coming through.. they bloody well hurt! How long do they take to push through the fleshy gum?

It's all to do with brushing (So my denist says). Get right to the back, and to stop gagging, bite the other side of your toothbrush with your other teeth!

Could be months or years on and off. All four of mine started coming through about ten years ago so my dentisit took the top two out and left the bottom ones in (can't remember why exactly) and the bottom ones still have a little go from time to time.

Better to have 'em out if you can.

Mine tried to come through, then sort of gave up. They don't hurt anymore.

Oil of cloves is good to dab on if you can find some (Holland & Barrett? Chemists?). It may be that you've got a bit of food lodged round it and it's got infected, so if it carries on hurting go to the dentist and get anti-biotics. They may also recommend having them out.

I had three out local anaesthetic. The third took an hour of tugging, before they broke into about ten bits to get it out. I had a face as fat as Guy Butters arse for a week. But don't let that worry you!!!!!!!!!!

Had all four of mine taken out at the same time just after my 20th birthday. Therefore I am no longer wise.

Heard that Watford O went to the dentist to see if he could have some put in.
