O/T - What's the most you've drunk in a day ?

I'm bored with the election so what is the most you've drunk in a day ? Mine is two bottles of Whiskey (Mark McGhee eat yer heart out). After that I can't remember ....

my record is 2 cases of beer ,two bottles of red and a bottle of burbon.......unfortunately there have been many occaisions when this total has come under threat, i find the hangovers get a lot worse the older i get.....

The most I can officially say was on my 21st birthday I drunk 21 pints of lager between 11am and 2am it used to be a tradition you had to drink 21 on your 21st to outdo the 18 on your 18th birthday.

18 pints of various bitter (14 before chuking up and restarting). Then downed 3 large glasses of Red and then proceeded to sink half a bottle of bells whiskey......that's when I really was in a mess. I was continually sick for three days and had a hangover for the rest of the week....

With hindsight.....I was very foolish.

My personal best is a bottle of wine, five pints and lots (can't remember the exact number!) of shots of tequila, which I could still taste at breakfast the next morning.

And I was dressed as a female prostitute at the time.

I never kept count but whilst at university there were special days every year (e.g. end of exams), where I would go from around 10am to 2am the next day with either a can or pint in my hand.

Not much compared with some of the tales on here, but I once had 10 pints of Holsten Export in a day. I know it was 10 because they had a promotion on at the time. You had this card, and you had to collect 10 stickers to stick on it (one sticker each time you bought a pint). Once you had all 10, you were entitled to a FREE pair of exclusive Holsten Export boxer shorts from behind the bar - they had the Holsten logo on them and EVERYTHING.

I remember thinking that those boxer shorts were the single most important thing in my LIFE to get hold of at the time, and I set about the task of acquiring the garment with gusto.

As I shambled triumphantly to the bar for my 10th pint, and the barmaid checked my card and placed those boxer shorts into my quivering hands, I knew that at long last, finally, I'd really DONE something with my life.

About 10 double vodka and cokes whilst watching the Arsenal v Southampton cup final in The Font. Very strange to be walking through Brighton very drunk in the day. A mate was made to do 21 shots on his 21st, after already having drunk a few pints and a couple of shots. Downed them all in a few minutes and managed to hold them down for a good 20 minutes before puking all over the floor!
