O/T - Stolen fishing gear

Hi All,

My mate who posts on here before Peterborough games (Southern Posh) had all his carp fishing gear stolen from his locked out house last night in East Worthing plus golf clubs and power tools.
I know its not likely but if anyone gets offered any of the above in the next couple of weeks, could they let me know (i can share details, makes etc)
It's taken him years to build it all up and to have this happen, he's obviously gutted. He is insured but he will have to find a large excess which he currently hasn't got.

Do you know what? It never occurred to me until now that might be cash converters primary function? So NAIVE ...

Might be worth visiting the local ones and asking them to get in touch if they get offered any? or is that hopelessly naive too?

If it's any help I will cast my net out and see if any of my fishing friends have got a bite. As for the golfing kit, perhaps his friends could club together and help him out? It's a common thing for outhouses to get burgled but perhaps the neighbours could shed some light on the matter?

Oh, "outhouse" - I was wondering what a "Locked-out house" was. It seemed quite a safe place to get burgled.
