I am getting hacked off. I need several upgrades to my main PC so I have been trying to get bits. I have completely given up on Ebay as I get so badly messed about (currently I have two open disputes and Ebay and Paypal are crap with that). I used to buy from Scan but have given up on them too as they use Citilink who make the word useless even more useless. one several occasions Citilink have said they have tried to deliver to my home and yet they have not even got close.

This time I tried Dabs but having ordered onliine I find that the order was wrong 15 minutes after placing it. I told the straight away and now I find they have still dispatched the original order ! Naturally it's now cancelled but no doubt I will have to waste a lot of time getting my money back.

I now am staring at PC World who I really don't like so any suggestions would be most welcome.

I use Ebuyer. Dirt cheap and never had a problem with them. I bought a Canon printer from them for £40 and the budget cartridges are £1.50 b/w £2.20 colour. Impecible service every time but I'm sure others will have had poor experiences.

Repaired my PC with a new mobo and memory too in the past and all good then.

i have never had a problem with dabs, so unfortunate that you have.

I also have used Scan without complaint and a friend often uses Novatech without issue.

When I build my latest PC, Misco was the supplier I used for most of the parts. They are probably mid-range price wise, but I would give them 10 out of 10 for service and delivery.

Thank you folks, lots of good advice. Part of the problem is that it's years since I even looked at a PC mag ! They all look good but as I say, I have stopped using Scan because thet will use such a useless courier.
