O/T Freehold purchase advice.

Hi guys,

I am the leaseholder of 1 of the flats in a 2 flat building. The freeholder has just offered the freehold of the place for sale and as such I am interested in going in jointly with the other leaseholder. The Freeholder has basically said "make me an offer" so I am unsure about how to go about calculating the value of the freehold and such make a fair offer to him.

Can anyone on NSC help and show me the way?

There are websites to help calculate the value, based on length of lease left, value of flats, amount of ground rent etc.
