.....to buy a dance compilation of banging floor fillers that doesn't have the usual 7 decent tunes dispersed between 40 other shite ones? I have yet to find such a thing. Any suggestions that don't include Uniting Nations, Eric Prydz (sp?), Cornershop or Spiller's 'Groovejet' most appreciated.

Decide which DJ or club night you like most and check their website to see if they are selling any Mix Cds.

Ministry's collections are usually pretty decent but they don't ever escape having at least one commercial tat track on them. However, its better than being lumbered with 15 remixes of Call On Me.

TBH the Ministry one's are the main reason I slapped this thread up, I've bought a few and got peed off with the amount of dross. May give Rennaissance a go.

Most compilations on Defected are great, too, if you like funky, soulful house music.

Especially 'Defected in the House' and 'Joey Negro in the House'

Any of the Southport Weekender compilations are pretty excellent too

Falmer, soon...
You are SO much better off downloading mixes off the net

Check the forums on Digitally Imported, HarderFaster, biscuitmonsters etc.

It's difficult to put so much anthematic stuff in a set, I'm still waiting for a really good mix which does this.

What sort of stuff are you after? I'm working on my own 1998-2006 trance - hard dance evolution set at the moment

I could probably knock something together early next year, I've got plenty of old trance vinyl...
