This is without doubt my last cricket question (it is pre season after all )😬. My sons taken an interest in cricket and would like to join a team. We live in Shoreham area. Was hoping for a club that practiced all year round. I presume a lot of clubs just play/practice during the summer. Worthing has come up as a possible option. Can anybody help ? Many thanks.

Ask around. My club is Lewes and we certainly play all the year-round. There's a winter indoor league and we have winter nets too. We're the wrong direction for you but ask at Portslade, Southwick, Brighton & Hove, Steyning (and,as you say, Worthing) and find one that's right for you.

From a parent's point of view, Steyning CC has the best view of the Downs / clubhouse with proper bar combo. A spectator's delight.
