Dear All,

I just wanted to congratulate you on the fantastic work you've done for "Wear Red for Wrexham Day".

Stephen Matthias of Wrexham gave up his valuable time to be interviewed on our website http://www.bristolcitynet.co.uk for the column "Robins Rivals Revealed!" which mentions your wonderful efforts and the fight to save Wrexham.

I hope that we get the opportunity to play you again in The Championship next season, and that your wonderful dedication and efforts to achieve your new home at Falmer are realised soon.

Keep up the good work.

Stephen: Oh I forgot to mention! It's "Wear red for Wrexham day.

This has been co-ordinated by a group of dedicated Brighton fans who use the North Stand chat website.

(See https://nortr3nixy.nimpr.uk/)

They've organised this themselves and messaged all the clubs in the league on the idea to wear some red for Wrexham.

So tomorrow we will get a lot of national exposure hopefully.

Mark: That's superb.

Stephen A Brighton fan named Richie Morris has a stall at Brighton tomorrow selling save Wrexham tee shirts and badges etc. They've gone out on a limb for us, and we really appreciate it.

We also made a "Falmer for Brighton" banner a few weeks ago which was hung on the motorway near Gillingham while Brighton were travelling there.

Our supporters have also lobbied the Brighton council and the Labour Party on that issue as well.

I've also been in contact with a Cambridge United Trust member and offered my help to them in any capacity, as they've got a few problems of their own at the moment.

Mark: Speaking of banners, I recall the Brighton fans made one for Wrexham which was displayed at our play-off final.

Stephen Yeah, the banner at the play off final was fantastic! Brighton fans talk about that with a lot of pride and rightly so.

For a team we've had no real links with before it's incredible.

Mark says: It's great when fans can be civilised.

Stephen: Well, I will be honest and say The Turf in Wrexham is one of the friendliest pubs going, and I've always enjoyed chatting with the away supporters in there.

It's a good friendly atmosphere, which is the way it should be. Then shake hands at the end of the game win lose or draw. Sportsmanship is what it ought to be about, on and off the pitch.

Mark: Well, if there's anything we can do to help at BristolCityNet it will be our pleasure Stephen.

Stephen: Cheers Mark.

Mark: Stephen, I'd like to thank you for being such an informative, open and genuine guest. It's been a pleasure interviewing you and the very best of luck for the rest of the season and beyond.

Stephen: Thanks I just hope we can do the same next season!
