I've just heard that the chap who posts on NSC as 'Ccider' has passed away.

Although he has not posted on NSC since May, NSC's admin panel shows Mike, as he is known in the real world, was using the site less than a month ago.

Its always sad to learn of these things and another Albion footsoldier who won't see the promised land of Falmer.

Rest In Peace Mike.

Mike was the guy who provided live commentary for a lot of exiles before Seagulls World-his method was to place a microphone in front of a radio over a service like 360.com. What a bummer that somebody like Mike will not get to enjoy our new home thanks to Cuttress and her cronies. At least he got to feel some of the excitement as the stadium began taking shape.

Also fair to say, Mike's service was way more reliable than the rubbish that is provided by Seagulls World today.

A very sad loss. Our thoughts are with his family. RIP Mike.

Apart from the day his wife decided to prepare dinner next to the radio

As you said-A very sad loss. Our thoughts are with his family. RIP Mike.

Another who won't get to sit at Falmer.

I hope that Mike got as much pleasure from the recent building pictures as the rest of us.

RIP

Mike was a work colleague of mine. Needless to say we often talked about the Albion more than work.

His death has come as a big shock to his work friends and family as before his accident he was about to go into semi-retirement to France.

His funeral is on the 10th.
