NSC tech help please...youtube

Why won't youtube videos show up on here for me now when they always have done before ? All I get is a blank square with a tiny picture type icon thingy in the top left corner.

Any ideas anyone, and what can I do to fix it please ?

Get your video up on Youtube

Right click on it and click 'copy video url'

Come back to the quick reply box on NSC and click on the filmstrip icon [second from the right]

Paste in the url

press ok

Sorry, my fault for not explaining my problem well enough.

The trouble is not in posting Youtube vids but watching any youtube video that anyone (including myself) has posted on here. It's the music threads that I'm thinking about in particular.

On the you tube video you want to show, click on "SHARE" and copy and paste the URL that comes up. (Not the embed one)

Exactly the same long set of options as anything else I right click. Can't seem to get any of them options to help me out either.

is it an ad blocker or maybe you need to update something (browser or video player etc)?

Right click the icon that's in the blank box then. If there's an indication of some kind then the computer knows there's something there that isn't being show and there will have to be some kind of option to interact with it.

Well if there is some kind of option that works I certainly can't find it.

Alas, this problem has been around a good few days or even weeks now and it's been switched on and off again numerous times.
