This is the main thread for the competition where you will post all your predictions and I'll provide updated tables as quickly as I can.
FORMAT
This prediction competition operates as a knock-out:
GROUP STAGE will see 3 mini leagues of 8 people each and will cover all the group games. The top 2 in each group plus 2 highest scorers (Lucky Losers) from across the groups will qualify for the quarter-finals.
QUARTER-FINALS will cover the quarter-finals and see the last 8 paired with each other. Scores set to 0 the highest scorer of each pair advances to the semi-finals.
SEMI-FINALS will cover the Semi-Finals with the last 4 split into two pairs - highest scorer from each advances to the final. Score set to 0.
FINAL Covers the 3rd place play-off and final. Involves the last two, score set to 0, highest score wins the tournament.
RULES
Predicitions to be posted by the following dates (I will accept late entries but these will score 25 for any matches already played and you will be eliminated if you miss 3 matches):
a) 1st set of group matches - 11:44am Fri 20th September
b) 2nd set of group matches - 8:44am Thur 26th September
c) 3rd set of group matches - 6:14am Thu 3rd October
d) 4th set of group matches - 8:14am Wed 9th October
e) Quarter-Finals - 8:14am Sat 19th October
f) Semi-Finals - 8:59am Sat 26th October
g) 3rd place play-off/Final - 8:59am 1st November

SCORING
Predict the outcome of each match by points margin.
Every point your out by will score 1 point against you.
Winner will be the lowest score as in golf.
TABLES. In the event of a tie in points, position will be decided by most correct scores, then most scores with a difference of 1 and I will repeat this process until I have a winner. I’ll try and update tables after each day.
KNOCK-OUT PHASE. If scores in a pair are level after each set of matches then the tie will be decided by count back as above.
