Pav, you're a bit late for this one! :lolol:

Edit - you'd be getting less points with the 25 point penalty than with your prediction! As you were.

rugbywc19.png

The Fiji score gave a lot of points to most of us who thought it would be much closer than that. KZNSeagull and One Love stood way ahead of the rest of us with only a five point difference. Pavilionaire was late with his entry so incurred a twenty-five point "penalty" for the Georgia match, but in effect he tied with or beat over half the field!

Congratulations to jessiejames, Taybha, Brighton Lines, One Love and Hamilton who all got the Ireland winning margin spot-on.

Why isn’t @Hart’s Shirt in a qualifying position? Is it the top two in each group and the two highest posters outside the top two can come from any group?

Yeah I know I should probably go back and read the rules

Absolutely correct.

Also anyone tied on points will rely on a count-back on correct predictions, then 1 point out etc.

You know...I've always considered myself 'group-fluid', a 'non-group-binary' person as it were, and increasingly identifying with Group B as much as Group A...

(In all seriousness, it's a great competition, fair play to TBB's rules, and it's good to be part of the magnificent 7, the 'Group Of Death'. May the best in each qualify.)

I think I’m going with “It’s not the winning it’s the taking part”

Is anyone else getting frustrated with the really long delays at just about every set piece in this World Cup?
