Maybe there are good reasons why some pledges not made good, changes in personal circumstances, etc.

You missed a trick. You shouldn't have let on you had reached your target. That way you may well have then got a few more quid out of posters towards the sponsorship? A bit like the "Blue Peter" appeals of yesteryear! After all it must be worth at least a tenner per year (20p per week) just to access the site.
As I didn't chip in this time. Put me down for a tenner towards next years sponsorship.
