absolute tosh. they dont give out awards to people who've been doing the same old thing for years and years and still aren't good at it.

He's gone, past it, yesterday's man. Move on
To use your example again - Kate Winslet.

Yeah, QUITE. Lenny Henry never got one.

but Lenny has changed his act over the years. he started off with the clever impressions, like David bellamy and Frank Spencer that he used to do wqith his back to the audience. Then - and this is the best bit - he used to turn round, and do you know what? he was BLACK

Absolutely hilarious it was.

And then , if you didn't laugh, he would threated to 'come and move in next door to you'. What a way to deal with hecklers eh?

It all stopped when Dawn French threatened to not shag him if he didn't stop doing the micky taking out of his own colour stuff.

Is it possible to nominate someone for 2 categories. If so, I'll back FRANK's nomination for "best comedy poster" as well as "poster most likely to be fleeced by a ladyboy and have no friends".

He really is too funny. I only have to think of one of his uber-ANGER posts, then remind myself that he is infact 50+ years old and it has me tittering away in my office seat. Great stuff.

my support, as you well know, was reserved for the respected coach of the feeble minded - a view which I believe will be vindicated by history :lolol:

the thrashings in the 3rd, 4th and 5th Tests by an Australian team containing several all-time greats certainly undermined a lot of the nonsense spouted at the time about the likely impact of match practice, Chris Read and Monty Panesar... (yes, there is still the chance that Lord Brockett's Old Radleian leadership skills could have made all the difference... we will never know about that but I could hazard a guess...)

*fights the temptation to get suckered in to another debate with Moshe and his nonsensicle views*

Repeat the mantra ... "He's just 'aving a laugh, he's just 'aving a laugh".

What do you mean nonsense? How can preparing properly and picking the best players be nonse........... STOP Gritty, STOP!

Not Luton! Thank God
I sort of see Easy 10 as beyond the Oscars in terms of Comedy Posting. In previous years he has broken through, but I think his day time ban from NSC has limited his effectivness.

If there was a poll for who was the funniest poster then he would win easily

I say US for the racing tips.
