I am not an expert, if you look at the recent new members, for at least the last couple of days, there are a lot of user names registered that look as if they have been generated as series of figures and numbers. I was going to point it out yesterday, coupled with this email, makes it appear a problem.

The question is intended to hinder spammy registrations, yes, but I assume that eventually the way to register on a given site gets known by bad guys so they fly straight through.
This sort of thing would never happen on Seagulls Chat
