There actually became 16 correct answers to question 4. Since 2000 should have been since 2000/01 really. However, Kevin Phillips (1999/2000) was accepted as a correct answer from both players.

The 1978 Qualifiers that were missed were Sweden, Austria, Hungary and Tunisia

Wooo. Well pleased with this. Great effort from [MENTION=34973]Lindfield23[/MENTION] - amazing knowledge for his age (based on his first FA Cup memory being 2006!).

FWIW, having now looked stuff up, I think my scores were:
Teams in our league, 2011-12. Scored 20/20
Teams who have won the top division. Scored 19/20 (guessed Blackpool, missed Burnley)
Prem top scorers. Scored 14 / 16 (put Vardy, missed Tevez/Berbatov)
Albion league placings. Scored 20/20
1978 World Cup. Scored 12/16. Struggled to guess the right European teams, especially.
Albion line up v Man City. Scored 10/11. Smug that I remembered Izzy Brown, but completely forgot Suttner!

The NSC Quiz Cup Final Replay

The question itself was poorly worded. I put this down to a brain that has been finally finally frazzled by thinking of questions and checking answers.

It should have read 'Name nine of the teams since the war have appeared in an FA Cup final (at least once) and failed to win.

This has been referred to VAR and the original decision stands as there was no clear and obvious error in a player's ability to come up with correct answers.

Congratulations to Hans Kraay Fan Club! However, this outcome makes me even more SORE that I would have BEATEN the eventual champion in the Complete and Utter Shyster Round were it not for Brighton Lines' dodgy algorithm!

I did the final round myself and woulda won the 1978 World Cup qualifiers question, but would have lost all the others to both opponents!

He's just been given the vote of confidence from the board but the fans are revolting. I'd give him four games into the new season.
