Round Nine.... It's all about coming second.

1) Who finished second behind Leicester City in the Premier League in 2016 ?
2) Who finished second behind Manchester United in the first :)rant:) Premier league season of 92/93 ?
3) Who were the runners up at Euro 2004 ?
4) Who is second in the 2019/20 Premier League goal scorer’s chart ? (I appreciate this is a long time ago)
5) Two England players are second behind Peter Shilton in the table of goalkeeper’s caps with 75 each. David Seaman is one, who is the other ?

I'm interested in what AmexRuislip put for the Crawley question to see if I need to beat myself with a large stick for changing my answer at the last minute.

Brighton Lines please assist, as I've deleted alll my PM's :)

2 draws if your counting the latest results, a 4-4 with Lincs Seagull

Plus a previous 1-1with Barham's Tash
Surely your game with Lincs Seagull was in the Cup, not the League?

Year Crawley entered the league?

Oh, sorry, long day, meds kicking in.

It was 2011.

Edit: FFS, Ian. He guessed 2010

Derby day tomorrow then AmexRuislip. Were this normality where would your mob be drinking tomorrow, The Middlesex Arms?

Probably at home, as my locals of The Woodman and Breakspear Arms are dumps.
I normally go out further afield to proper country pubs, real ale.
I do know of a MOD who occasionly frequents the Middlesex Arms.
What about you? :)

They'll be match threads appearing before long.

Probably The White Bear. Bit wanky for a drinking pub I know but we like the food.

It used to be my local in my RAF days, a short walk back to base.
As you say, its more of an eaterie than drinking hole.
The Case is Altered in Eastcote is ok, or the Hop and Vine in Ruislip high street is essbee1 haunt.

The Sett was built for occasions like this. It’s always a special atmosphere for these famous 15:15 kick offs and welcoming a team of the quality of HKFC will only add to that. I’ll need the black and white army to be the 12th man if we’re going to topple one of the title contenders and put on a show for the billions watching around the world.

Big chance for the home team. I KNOW one of these answers. The other 4 will all be (educated) guesses.

Pretty much all of them, I can narrow down to two options. In the lap of the gods.
