Anyone got a Now TV box? Looks like a decent option for someone like me that just wants to watch the odd match here and there. is it really as good as it sounds?
The standard box is great for catch up tv and a few apps. The £10 sky sports day passes look alright, but you might be able to find a live stream for the game anyway.
£6.99 for 24 hours
£10.99 for 7 days
Yeah, £10.99 for 7 days is pretty good value in my opinion.
I believe that is a special offer price they have been doing, it's due to go up at the end of the month (£16 for the weekly pass).
Is there a site you'd recommend with plex installation instructions?I've got one - used to use the TV and Film add-ons before we decided that Netflix was superior for that - we still use it for things like iPlayer/4OD etc. Also if there's something we want to PPV for as well.
They're ok- they're just branded Roku boxes really, so trying to put other apps on them has to be sideloaded on, which isn't too hard once you've done it once (I have Plex installed on mine so I can stream movies/TV from my computer if I want).
It's not a bad investment.
We have it, got three months Movies free and paying for the Entertainment pass monthly for the boxsets. Works really well and it's nice having it on the TV upstairs so I can use Youtube in a decent size screen without getting up Don't know that I'd call the Sports passes worth the money though.Anyone got a Now TV box?
