17-20, worried, but I am a pessimist at the best of times, or should that be worst?

7th-12th.....and that's being optimistic!

What he said, as usual we have left it way too late with transfers. People can say that MM/DK have been trying their hardest etc but we're a week away from our first game and all we've done is dither on decisions about a few french trialists. Rubbish I tell thee.

3rd-6th.

A good young team, as soon as we get the likes of Lynch, Charlie, and Tank back from injury we'll be in and round the top few places.

17th - 20th in the hope that a new manager will be installed to repair the damage that will be done in the first few months of the season.

shit start, mcghee goes, turienzo becomes player manager, we SURGE up the table. turienzo is then involved in a sex scandal and is sacked, the players go on a mutiny. ken monkou becomes manager, we settle for mid table

thats EXACTLY whats going to happen

6 to 10th - some ups like beating Colchester, some downs like losing to MK Dons but generally we will be comfortable in this league and have a decent transitional season with our young squad.

Young squad? Jesus if the squad gets any younger the pre-match meal will be breast fed!

That's why it will be a transitional season. If we were able to bring in 3 or 4 old heads, I think we would make the play-offs for sure. But unless we do that, we will have to wait for that until the following seasons until the youngsters mature.

i reckon about 13-16th, will probably hit a good spell near the end of the season but it will be way too late, doubt we will get promoted back to the championship for a couple of seasons, realy hope im wrong, but we havent made any decent signings that fill me with hope

I'm all in favour of giving youth a chance but you can't ask boys to do a man's job. We need to bring in a few seasoned pro's to turn the club around & give the kids good pro's to look up to & learn from. At some point the club are going to have to take a gamble and commit money to a few quality signings before the downward spiral goes to far.

7-12

Think too much is being put on the result last night, sure were shite and shouldn't be losing 4-1 to MK

However, still a pre-season friendly and could serve as a bit of a wake up call.

As for people moaning about late signings...McShane, Carole, Frutos ?

All signed just b4 or even just after last season...... it's not going to be a great season but a few good wins, followed by a few disappointing defeats will probably be the story...but i'm sure we can grind out a top half finish
