Do you think some home truths might spill out?
Certain players and managers might feel the need to get something off their chest maybe????

Why?

You seem to be suggesting that any disagreement between ex employees and the previous chairman would be entirely down to Dick Knight.

Does it occur to you that the likes of Bas Savage, Colin Kazim-Richards, Leon Knight, Dean Hammond, Dean Wilkins, or whoever, might have occasionally been in the wrong themselves?

Impossible. Ernest and the Giraffe inter alios assure me that simply is impossible.

The cock ups (if you want to call them that) that Knight took part in of which I doubt he was 100% to blame, 2 to tango and all that, are far outweighed by the good things that he has done for the club. Why can some people not treat this as a good thing without trying to knock DK? Sure Bloom will make cock ups along the line and I wonder how long it will take for the posts to appear on here demanding answers for this decision or that decision

We have an almost universally (at the moment) popular manager, funding secured for a new stadium and a new chairman threatening to spend money.

Do we really need to know the ins and outs of why a manager was sacked five years ago?

No i do live in the real world

A world where a chap called Knight saved the Albion from oblivion and who's bloody-minded stamina and determination was absolutely INTRINSIC in us getting permission for a stadium that secured our entire future, has now handed over the reigns to someone with the financial clout to carry the whole thing through so we will have a club and an infrastructure of which to be proud for decades to come, and one which will still be there for my lad as he grows from boy to man supporting the stripes.

Oh - but he sacked Wilkins. Yeah, sorry. What a (unt.

Even if there is "truth" to come out, Knight is still with the club. He isn't exactly 'gone'

This is one thing I don't understand about the 'anti-Knight brigade'. Perry was the only person that voted against the sacing of Wilkins, so why is Knight exclusively to blame. I doubt that much will come outthat we didn't already know.

Oh well, onwards and (hopefully) upwards.

This is a new era and I really don't care what Kazim-Richards thought of McGhee or what parts Dean Wilkins and Dick Knight played in the Hammond transfer. They're all yesterdays men and it's all yesterday's news.

If Bloom was behind the Wilkins/Adams changeover, the timing of the Adams sacking and apparently not wanting Slade permanently as he wasn't a big enough 'name' then yes those do worry me a bit as they could be an indication of future cock-ups. But that's all I do care about - the future.

Because Knight was the chairman. If Slade goes Bloom will be blamed, even if the rest of the board agree.

I also got the sense that the ball was started rolling by Knight, that Knight came to the board and said "let's replace Wilkins with Adams". That is just a feeling I got and I can't point to any evidence.

If there was a single grain of truth in that statement I think that there would be at least one anonymous leak to the press don't you? Of all the players and managers who have left the club over the years wouldn't there be one who would ignore the alleged gagging orders because they were so pissed off?

Like I said previously, you appear to live in a different world to the rest of us.

What, (in your world) happened when somebody left the club? Dick Knight said to them "Here's your severance package that you're legally entitled to as part of your contract with us, say anything to the press and you're in trouble"? Or did players who were released get told "You say anything to the press or media and I'll make sure you never play football anywhere, ever again"?

It's definitely time for you to move on-just enjoy your friendship with Wilkins and stop with the ridiculous theories.

If you were a Colonial (American) you would be the sort of person who lives in a shack in deepest darkest Montana, complaining about the federal Government brain washing you with repeats of Taxi, that the president is an Alien and that Bin Laden was your postmen.

As I have said before, methinks your being taken for a ride.

DW was sacked due to pressure from certain individuals on the boards and I'm not talking about DK here, the ones that actually got him the job in the first place !!!!
