William Hill are going 19/20 Brighton to beat Doncaster on the first match of the season. That's outstanding value I believe.

I think at the end of the season we'll see Brighton somewhere in the top half and Donny struggling right at the bottom.
The first game at The Amex too. Remember the first match at Withdean ?

This is amazing value and I think we'll be more like 4/7 on matchday so it can be traded on Betfair for a profit if you don't want the bet to stand

The bad news is that I have no history with Willhill and they originally declined my bet online, then I rang them and they agreed to take half of it.

I'd urge you to take the price for as much as you can afford. It's tremendous value.

Are you a bookie, Biffer?

For someone that doesn't bet you seem very clued up on value mate and I agree 19/20 is a fantastic price.

Ha ! Anything but a bookie my old son.
I used to run a sports betting tipping service with over 50,000 subscribers (as Blackie can confirm) and after seeing my results Blackie and Bozza would have to concede that my betting service provided tremendous results month after month. First class website too thanks to Goldstone Technology. Sadly a wife, 2 kids, a greyhound and a business have got in the way of that and it is no more.

Anyway, I now have another greyhound and of course still like to have a bet as no doubt people on here already know.

8ace. I asked for £500 and they let me have £250.
Osgood. Skybet will take £10 if you're lucky. They're a joke.

Good luck y'all.

Biffer is a shrewie for sure. Being too lazy to open a spread account myself I piggybacked on his account in the early Withdean days. When we beat Aldershot 6-2 in the Cup and we took Spreadex for a tidy, tidy sum they decided they didn't want to take any more money from Biffer (and by extension me and others) as we'd just been too damned successful week after week.

There is another tale that involves Biffer and I at Hove dogs, a spectacular win on the last, a visit to Harlequins and me waking up the next morning with my wedding ring on the wrong hand. But less said about that the better.

I have just stuck a tentative £5 on us being top after the first weekend.

Also have a look at the top scorer odds, Murray 33-1 CMS 14-1 Hoskins 28-1, Now who do the bookies feel is the better player :)

Not going to go for any season long bets at the moment but the 14-1 for top slot was just too tempting

My, what kind words Bozza.
The greyhound was called Findon Valley I believe and won from Trap 1. A marvellous night.
You were found in the early hours of the next morning sitting on the kitchen floor scooping Branston Pickle out of the jar with your fingers.
You random freak.

I really fancy Hoskins to surprise people. He looks a real class act, and with CMS along side him he could easily score 20.

Biffer, Skybet kindly let me have a ton @14s, and ive just had a tenner top-up while checking to see if it was still available, it is!
others could conclude that you are astute, and i could be a mug,
but ive had my moments..
looking at the opening day fixtures, i think this bet would be good value @ half those odds,
as B.W.Hills would say,
"the more you think somethings overpriced, the more you should have on"

Mate, I don't think you're a mug at all. It's a great bet.
I'm surprised just they accommodated the bet thats all. They tend not to like anything more than beer money at Skybet.
I think I'll join in with you.

Good luck !

Any chance of a link to this market? I'm obviously having a slow day, as I can't find it on site...

EDIT - Sorry, found it. Under Championship specials, which for some reason doesn't come under "Championship bets".
