Buoyed by the 3-0 win against Burton, Albion will travel to Forest in good heart. Nottingham Forest were knocked out 3 -1 against Spurs, to whom the Seagulls will be visiting to in the cup next month.
As for the league, Forest are unbeaten so far and top, whilst Albion languish 10 points behind in 18th. If we get hammered on Saturday we could find ourselves in the bottom 3. As for past history, Forest have very much the upper hand with 14 wins, compared to 8 victories for the Seagulls & 9 draws, however, Albion can take heart with their last game at The City ground winning 2-1 in May. Indeed we haven't lost within our last 4 visits in Nottingham (3 draws) & only 1 defeat in our past 7 meetings (home & away).
If the Seagulls are going to get a victory, we will surely have to nullify Antonio & Assombalonga (both on 4 goals), whilst we perhaps will be looking at Dunk & Texeira to increase their goal tally of two a piece. Has any of our centre forwards hit the onion bag in the league this campaign?
Well played BHA, through to the last 16 in the League Cup for the first time in 34 years. 18 correct scores tonight. Brill.
