No, he is actually a very good left back!

I'd have been happy to see Lynch at left back instead of Richards, but not instead of McNulty.

I do think Lynch is the type of Centre Back we are really missing at the moment. Would love him to come back and start but can't see it happenning now...

He will never ever play for us again. Because MA didn't consider him any good then the current crop we had at that time.

Addding to this, Lynch obviously didn't want to prove the manager wrong and fight for his place in the team, like Kuipers has done on many occasions.

Why do you say that? MA's first line up was dictated by the fact that Joel was injured. And then because Joel didn't immediately win his place back, he threw his toys out of the pram. So if MA has reservations about him now this is entirely justified. There's no doubt he has more class on the ball than any of our other centre halves, but with the possible exception of Hawkins, he's also one of the most error-prone.

He doesn't want to play for us and some of you want him back here?? Fecking madness.

my thoughts exactly next thing is Leon Knight and Hammond wending their way back.

we will take the money and buy elsewhere thanks.

With the news that Forest are set to spend a fair wad of cash on Leicester's Joe Mattock I think that puts to bed any hopes Lynch had of joining Forest... Ah shame...

Trouble is if they don't want him...

...who does?

Will that mean a firesale next summer, or, worse a disaffected player mooching around.

BTW my mate is very tickled that his casual comment sparked such debate!
