[Drinking] Notting Hill - where to drink / eat?

I'm meeting an old mate who's visiting from Oz in Notting Hill tomorrow afternoon. Can anyone recommend a good pub that does food please? Ta.

Prince Albert on the corner of Kensington Park Road used to be my (work) local and was always decent pub grub. Used to have exactly the same menu as the Park View near Preston Park also if you've been there. Must have been in the same small chain of pubs. Not been there for a few years.

Ladbroke arms I went to a while ago , was good . My best friends in London live in south Ken & Hampstead so I’m better in those areas as I’m there quite a bit .

Take a short trip to the Larrik Marylebone we often visit highly recommend the food and a great pub for a catch up with mates.

Thanks and yes. The Windsor Castle, The Eagle, Ladbroke Arms, Earl of Lonsdale and Churchill Arms being recommended there . I trust NSC tastes just as much as Cottagers.

I eat tonight at Hobson's Fish and Chips in Porchester Road. Fantastic fresh fish from Billingshurst cooked in crisp, gluten free batter. Fabulous.
