Clicking on the image of the car to enlarge it, looks like a poor photoshop attempt to me.

Well if it's going to be driven safely, and it's purpose is to promote safe driving, why not buy a Ford Focus?

Because who'd turn up at a roadshow to see a Ford Focus?

In any case, I'm fairly confident the police haven't actually bought the thing, frankly with the budget cuts they're having to make at the moment we'll probably be driving pedal cars this time next year.

I think you can safely assume that the aquisition of this particular vehicle has come about through a local Lotus dealer seeking a bit of publicity.

I thought the Met had something similar, but it had been seized from a drug dealer? Or is that more of an urban myth

At the foot of the downs
""Very little would outrun this vehicle if it were a fully operational patrol car""

the word IF in that sentence kinda means its not for real !!!

In my computer
I'd be more afraid of the unmarked Evo which they've got now, the Exige would have to be tucked up safekly when the rain falls - which at the moment is daily! :)
