I have just about lost interest in this season already, which is unheard of. I also have no intention of going to watch the team play this season either.

If I'm to spend £23 or whatever it is now I expect to be entertained. I'm sorry but I wouldn't even spend £10 to see this absolute drivel. Fans cannot be expected to pay these prices when having to endure that sort of quality or lack of.

This has got to be the lowest point for 9 /10 years now and I can't see it getting better either.

Regretfully nowadays, for many reasons I am an armchair supporter (after many years of active support) so I was really looking forward to the oportunity of watching the match on Sky yesterday - what a let down, it was truly painful viewing !! We were awful.

There seemed to be no passion in the team, only Cox seemed to want to play and get the ball. The defence was woeful and niave in the extreme, the older players showed absolutley no interest in making things happen or in gee-ing up the younger players (isn't that the whole point of blooding youngsters in the team?)

We had 11 or 12 corners and we exploited none of them - we were second to the ball on at least 9 of those corners. We had 1 decent chance on goal from our corners - and that from a guy who joined the club 24 hours earlier (and he seemed to bottle out of the header). The highlight was that we had a decent penalty denied us in the first 15 minutes - it all went downhill from there.

We were always second to the ball in open play and had absolutley no imagination as to what to do with it once we got it. Blackpool chased for every ball, knew what to do with it when they got it and exploited our lethargy. Their first goal was from a move that they'd already tried 3 times in the 10 minutes before they scored - didn't our "experienced" defence figure this out???

FFS we played 3 different captains in the 90 minutes.

I know that we have a lot of younger player - I like that we have a lot of younger players, it's a good thing.

I like that we've given Dean Wilkins the chance to prove himself.

But ffs please tell me that yesterday was a one-off and that we don't play so badly every week - please tell me that it doesn't get any worse than this!

Well yesterday we were at home against a team from the bottom of the table. Next week we are away to a team that just beat the league leaders 4-0 away. I'm not going to make any promises.

I don't mind us losing, it's HOW we lose.

Yesterday was as spine-less, clue-less and skill-less a performance, against poor opposition, as I have seen in years.

And it is thoroughly depressing.

I'm from Hove actually but recently moved here for my sins.!!!

So what you are saying is you are actually happy to pay that sort of money to only go away disappointed. I expect you are the sort of person that has a bad meal, pays through the nose and doesn't compalin.

If people do not a stand, complain, vote with their feet etc etc things do not improve !
