There's the odd small flag on a stick being waved in the crowd, but no fans' banners to be seen draped over anything.

Someone on the radio this morning suggested that the Germans aren't into flags/banners these days as it's too similar to the Nazi rallies. Not sure how true that explanation is?

You can't even talk about the war in Germany without them getting funny about it. Nothing to remind them. I can well believe that banners are banned but after the game you can see loads of flags being waved
