Recently my nose has started bleeding for no reason at all, and it is not a little its a lot of blood.

the other night i woke up to blood everywhere, on my face, my hands, my arm and all on my wall. then a couple of hours later it started pissing out with blood.

ive now booked a appointment with my doc. but my nose has been bleeding twice today already.

anyone ever had this problem before? anyone know how to sort it out? or any ideas why this is happening

Yes! Me.

I have had my nose cauterised a bunch of times times and it solves the problem for a while but then it starts again. I had lots of tests and stuff because *imagine gross things, don't want to put anyone off their lunch* but they concluded it was just one of those things.

Stop picking your nose!

Do you work in an a/c office?

High blood pressure can do it. There are some weak points in the nose which can rupture. Also, when you sneeze, do you hold your nose? If you do, you can rupture or weaken the walls.

i have been stressed alot recently so maybe it could be high blood pressure.

Perhaps you've simply got too much blood in you. A good kicking once a week should sort it.

:)

It'll almost certainly be the hot whether, ie High Pressure together with weak blood vessels in the nose.

I have had nose bleeds for many years, it bleeds for two or three minutes without warning and then stops. I then (against all first aid advise) blow my nose to get rid of the clotted blood and its fine again. These usually only happen in the summer.

Good to get it checked out though

I only got nosebleeds once when in the French Alps, never happened before when snowboarding but this one time (in band camp) I was on a chair lift and the thing just leaked! Blood everywhere....bloody cool to get the offending clot out in the end and sling it to the nearest french skier!

Go to the doctors immediatly and get a blood pressure check. Your pressure is so high it sounds as though it is trying to "vent" and the blood vessles in your nose are some of the weakest in your body.

My father suffered from bad nose bleeds for a month before......well he is no longer here.

seriously go and get it checked out ASAP

Calm down Di he's only 16, if he had bad headaches etc to accompany the nose bleeds then it might be a bit more serious, bet he's crapping himself now
